In today’s fast-paced business landscape, digital transformation is no longer a choice—it’s a necessity. To remain competitive, businesses must adopt new technologies that optimize operations, enhance profitability, and drive efficiency. The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) has embraced this shift through the e-Faktur program, a digital tax invoice solution. 

Effective July 20, 2024, all Taxable Entrepreneurs (PKP) are required to transition to the new e-Faktur 4.0 software, replacing version 3.2. This upgrade, availablethrough the DJP e-Faktur website, introduces several enhancements aimed at streamlining processes and ensuring compliance. 

Key Features of e-Faktur 4.0 

  1. NPWP Compatibility, Both 15-digit and 16-digit NPWPs (Taxpayer Identification Numbers) can now be used to access the e-Nofa system and record tax invoices.
  2. Enhanced User Profile, The user profile menu now includes 16-digit NPWPs and includes the Business Activity Identity Number (NITKU).
  3. Document Recording Flexibility, Tax invoices can now be recorded using either 15-digit or 16-digit NPWPs on desktop and web-based platforms.
  4. NITKU Information, NITKU details are now included in document outputs for clarity.
  5. Watermark Addition, A watermark is now added to the Main VAT Return and its attachments when printed through the e-Faktur 4.0 Application.
